Occupation of the site of Qatna, which lies 18 km northeast of modern day Homs in Syria, began in the Early Bronze Age. The speaker will tell us not only about this ancient city-state and its transformation over the ensuing centuries but also of her personal experiences of the site.

Non-members are welcome. A donation of $10 per person includes entry in the lucky door prize and afternoon tea. Afternoon tea will be held in E318, Forgan Smith Building.
